Ingredients
  

Classic Crumbl Chocolate Chip Cookie

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
  • Scoop dough onto the baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 12-14 minutes until edges are golden and centers are soft.
  • Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For extra chewy cookies, let the dough rest overnight in the refrigerator.
