Ingredients

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Heavenly Add-Ins

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup miniature marshmallows

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips, marshmallows, and chopped nuts until evenly distributed.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.

Notes

For a softer crust, wrap the brownies in a clean, damp kitchen towel while cooling. This helps retain moisture and prevents the crust from becoming too hard.
